It’s amazing to me the inverse relationship between coaching & training and seniority level in the org chart. I’ve even seen orgs where executive leadership was exempt from manager training.

The more senior your role, the more impact you have on the organization and its culture. If you’re serious about creating a great culture, then your senior managers are the key levers you’ll need to make an impact.

A manager’s bad habits are amplified by their seniority and spread through their whole team. So while it’s easy to brush off their issues as personal idiosyncrasies (and sometimes they are), they are probably having a greater effect on your teams than you realize.
